Not by a software company studying one from outside.
Nobody's life fits on a checklist.
Bathe. Dress. Prepare a meal. Every agency I knew ran on a form like that, and every form looked the same no matter whose house you were in. A woman who taught school for thirty years and a man who never sat still got the same three boxes.
The form told a care provider what to do. It never told them who they were doing it for.
I wanted a plan built around one person — what they can still do for themselves, what they eat, who they were before: the work, the people, the habits nobody thinks to write down. And I wanted the care provider to arrive already knowing it, not learning it over the first few weeks.
A checklist gets tasks completed. That isn't the same as a life worth living. So we built the plan first, and made everything else come from it.

So the plan became the source.
Most platforms are built around the schedule, because the schedule is the part you can see from outside. Fill the shift, log the hours, bill the client.
Inside an agency, the schedule is the easy part. The hard part is that the plan you wrote never reaches the house.
In Anaya the care plan is where everything begins. The tasks, the meals, the activities, and what the family sees are all generated from it. Change the plan and the care changes — with no re-entering it in four places.
We are new, and we would rather say so.
We don't have fifty logos to show you. Anaya has been running inside one agency, which is where it was built and tested before anyone else saw it.
Some of what we plan to build is not built yet. It's listed on the platform page, with no dates attached, because a roadmap with dates on it is a promise we haven't earned.
What we do have is a product built by someone who has done this job since 2008, and who is still doing it.
